Blog 14: World Conflict: Genocide

Choose a historical conflict which became acknowledged as genocide. You may go to wikipedia for a list of genocides at:

After reading, write a 12 sentence paragraph describing the event and answering the following questions: Who was involved, When did it occur? Where did it occur? Could something have been done to stop it? Should the U.S. do anything when events like this occur?

Blog 13: Current Event # 2

Find a current news article from either http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/    or    cnn.com and write 1, 12 sentence paragraph over the article. Remember to include a introduction sentence, 5 details (10 sentences) and a conclusion sentence for the paragraph. The paragraph should explain the event and provide your reaction to it and what impact you think it will have on the world or history. After you finish, you must work on any missing blogs.

and write down 10 notes, 4 questions, and a 1/2 page summary reaction answering the question, what is stopping policy to deal with global warming? What is in the way?

Afterwards, research and write an explanation of  what Obama has done to try to deal with global warming.
