  1. Its hard to say anything about the davis case. They really didnt have any evidence on him. Personally I think the ex-prisoner was lying because lately in the cases i've been reading about, an prisoners statement IS the only type of evidence they have.

  2. I think that Troy Davis should be let free becuase Sylvester Coles the one who allegedly accused Troy Davis account of what happened and what he did sounds entirely faulty from the account he gave it sounds like he did it not Troy and accused Troy cause he was there and wanted someone else to take the fall. There also isn't enough evidence connecting Troy since all they had to go one was a man wearing a white shirt and didnt find the murder weapon.

  3. I think The reason the advertisement is significant is because it marked the first time that any toy company had attempted to peddle merchandise on television outside of the Christmas season.

  4. To be put on death trial there needs to be evidence without reasonable doubt. The police officer is dead so he can't say who killed him, but the judge or the executioners were not there to know if he really committed the crime. Therefore there is doubt if he was really there or not.

  5. They need to give the death trail knowing if they did it. You always need hard evidence. The police officer who died cant say anything. they don't know if he did it or not. Should he be see free or get the death evidence.

  6. There was no real proof that he had done that . i think the justice system is nothing but a LAZY ASS. never work hard so they gotta blam innocent people, people who shouldn't be blammed they dont care as long as they get there money! ugh , all the case we went over show how F-UP the justice system is !
Troy Davis should be set free not killed for something that was just blamed on him !

  7. In the Troy Davis case, they didn't have enough evidence to convict him. They should let him free. They just accused Troy Davis because they needed somebody to take the fall.

  8. I thought you couldn't have a trial if reasonable doubt was in play, there seems to be a lot of doubt on who killed MacPhail, and if they keep pushing Troy Davis' execution date, why keep him in jail?

  9. I personally think they should let him free, they do not have enough evidence to even really convict him besides the witnesses who recanted. he especially should not be sentence to the death penalty. they just needed someone to blame, and sadly the justice system does this alot to innocent people.

  10. I feel that this is a racist case. When this case took place Alabama was very strict on african americans. There was not even enough evidence to even attempt to say that Troy Davis could have committed this crime. THe evidence was not the same every time this case was put to trail. THe witnesses were changing there story's. This is not fair too bring this up again so long after the crime was committed.

  11. There was not enough sufficient evident to lock this man up or give him the death penalty. They should have overturned his sentence. This is the 2nd time I have seen the courts completely ignore evidence and kill an innocent man.

  12. In the Troy Davis case i do not think that they should put an innocent man to death because of what someone said about troy witch is not true. I believe that if evidence is found that Troy did and they know he did than he should of been sent to prison. its not right to send an innocent man or anyone to prison for something they are not sure of.

  13. They didn't have any positive evidence all they had was a statement from another criminal. I don't think they should have killed him he was maybe innocent maybe not. But no one has the right to take anthers person life. If they killed him for taking another person life then what gives them the right to take his life???? (without evidence)

  14. I really dont know what to say, but they didnt have real good evidence. All they had was a statement from a person. Maybe they shouldnt waited first. But they didnt give him anytime, they just killed him. I understand if they killed him if they killed him. But they didnt know.

  16. They really didnt have any evidence on him. the only thing they even had on him was what people said. for all they know they could be putting an innocent man to death. and i dont think that people should be put on death row. i dont think its mans choice whether someone dies or not. because in the end that just makes them murderers themselves.

  17. i feel their decision was extremely rash & they did not have to kill him. it was not justified by the amount of evidence they had.

  18. I think davis' many supporters include the pope, former FBI Director William Sessions and former President Jimmy Carter. Throughout, he's proclaimed his innocence, while prosecutors and the victim's family maintain that the right man sits on death row.
